THE E100 TEAM RELAY / 50-MILE SOLO

July22 - Pioneer Day weekend we will be hosting The E100 Team Relay / 50-mile Solo race.
The 100-mile team relay will cover the entire course, during which teams composed of 2 to 5 riders will compete. Each team member will race a section, or multiple sections of the course. This race will start at The Canyons and go through Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, the Deer Crest Development and portions of Park City’s municipal trail system, before returning to the finish area at The Canyons.

50 Mile Solo Course
All 50 MILE racers will ride the racecourse stages #1 and #2. At the stage #3 there will be a short cut at point #015 / see map and directions for stage #3 /. You will come back to racecourse at point #036 and continue riding to DV Support Station. 50-MILE race will finish at Deer Valley Support Station.

100 MILE COURSE STATISTICS
Stage 1: 20.64 mi with 3472 ft. of vertical gain
Stage 2: 18.98 mi with 4229 ft. of vertical gain
Stage 3: 22.09 mi with 4204 ft. of vertical gain
Stage 4: 16.73 mi with 2463 ft. of vertical gain
Stage 5: 21.56 mi with 4259 ft. of vertical gain

Grand Total of The E 100 racecourse: 100 miles of rolling alpine single track trail with a total gain of 18,627 ft.
This event will educate racers about challenging The Endurance 100 single-track course, help with logistics of the race and encourage athletes for new goals in upcoming The Endurance100 Solo event.

PRE EVENT REGISTRATION
Friday, July21 and/or August 25

The Canyons Resort at The Smokie’s Restaurant from 3:00 pm.–8:00 pm.

Note about age requirements:
For team relay minimal age is 14 years old at the date of the race with sign minor waver by parent or guardian present at the check-in registration the day before the race.
For all solo races minimal age is 18 years old at the day of the race.

Note about Raffle tickets:
One Raffle ticket with registration is FREE. Additional Raffle tickets at $5.00 each can be purchased at the day of check-in registration and at the award ceremony.

Note to out of state racers:

Registration at the Event Headquarters day before The E100 race only:

If slots are still available, racers may register on site from 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the Event Headquarters at The Canyons, The Smokie’s Restaurant July22. Slots will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis with additional $20.00 late fee charge.

Registration Check-In from 3:00pm – 8:00pm:
All competitors MUST CHECK-IN at the Event Headquarters at The Canyons day before the race. Here you will need to present your I.D. card, sign all insurance waivers, pick-up your race # with “SWAG” bag. Picture I.D., NORBA card or for not NORBA members additional $5.00 is required to race in The Endurance 100. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS MADE Race Course Briefing at 7:00 pm till 7:30 pm / MANDATORY

RACE DAY INFORMATION

Saturday, July 22
The Canyons Resort, behind The Smokie’s Restaurant parking lot

CAR PARKING for racers and support crew
Start/Finish parking is at The Canyons Lover parking lot by Cabriolet.
Please be sure to arrive early to have time to unload your bicycle, park the car, get your drop bag into the appropriate vehicle and get ready for the race.
The short riding distance from start will be good for to warm-up.
You will need check-in with registration volunteer before coming to Start area behind The Smokie’s Restaurant parking.

DROP BAG service
There will be DROP BAG service cars with trailers waiting at The Canyons
Lover parking lot by Cabriolet picking up your drop bags or coolers for support stations Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort.
Please mark your bags or coolers with your name, Race BIB numbers and bright graphics so you will be able to recognize them QUICKLY.
FREE DROP BAG service will be open from 4:30 AM till the START.

The Race will start exactly at 6:00 am.
Family and friends who want to watch the start will be able to park at this parking lot or another one higher.
Support Station #1 & #4 parking will be available at Park City Mountain Resort lover parking lot or at another one across.
Support Station #2 & #3 parking will be available for Limited Time Only at Silver Lake Deer Valley area.

Attention 50 MILE and/or 100K racers:
All 50 MILE racers will ride the racecourse stages #1 and #2.
At the stage #3 there will be a short cut at point #015 / see map and directions for stage #3 /. You will come back to racecourse at point #036 and continue riding to DV Support Station.
50-MILE race will finish at Deer Valley Support Station.
100 K racers will take route as 50-mile racers and continue on stage #4 with finish in PC Mountain Resort.

Cut-off Times
There will be safety cut-off times at each support station:
Support Station PCMR #1 –cut-off time at 9:00 am.
Support Station DV #2 –cut-off time at 12:30 am.
Support Station DV #3 –cut-off time at 3:30 pm
Support Station PCMR #4 –cut-off time at 6:30 pm.
After5:00 pm – After this time all racers leaving for
Stage # 5 must have night riding equipment / MANDATORY.

Anyone who has not arrived at Support Station DV #3 by 3:30 pm. and Support Station PCMR # 4 by 6:30pm or who is still lingering at them past these times will not be allowed to continue.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

Important: Medical professionals at each Support Station have the authority to stop a racer and keep them at the station to rest, refuel or rehydrate for as long as the medical team deems necessary. The racer may be determined to be unfit to continue.
FINAL JUDGEMENT ALWAYS RESTS WITH RACE MANAGEMENT.

The FINISH Station will be open until the last racer of The Endurance 100 will finish the race.

POST EVENTS FESTIVITIES
Sunday, July 23
The Canyons Resort, The Smokie’s Restaurant or FORUM

Award Ceremony, Post Event Raffle at 9:00 am
There will be a post race get together by the start/finish area at Smokie’s Restaurant. We will have food and refreshments available for purchase, and it will be a good opportunity for all of you to trade stories and recap the battles and triumphs of the day.

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female overall winners in each solo race as well as for top three teams at Relay category. Awards will be given to the best male/female athletes of solo races.

Male and female age groups categories: M2 & F2 age 18 to 29; M3 & F3 age 30 to 39; M4 & F4 age 40 to 49; M5 & F5 age 50 and up.
There will be overall awards for SINGLE SPEED RIDERS.

After award ceremony we will have raffle event.

Additional raffle tickets at $5.00 each can be purchased at the day of check-in registration and at the award ceremony.
