THE E100 TEAM RELAY / 50-MILE SOLO
ATHLETE’S GUIDE

July 21 - Pioneer Day weekend we will be hosting The E100 Team Relay / 50-mile Solo race.

100 MILE TEAM RELAY will cover a 100 mile course, during which teams composed of 2 to 5 riders will compete. Each team member will race a section, or multiple sections of the course. Team relay events are gaining huge popularity with racers. They are opportunities for friends to train and race together - pushing each other to their limits. Relay sports build team camaraderie for years to come.

50 MILE Solo racecourse will cover just the first half of 100 mile course and will help to prepare solo racers for The Endurance 100’s 100 mile race in August. This race helps athletes learn trails, work out logistics and fine tune endurance racing skills. It is also a great place to set personal goals for the upcoming 100 mile race.

To see actual footage, watch the 5 minute TV clip from 50 Mile Solo/ Team Relay race. This is a SERIES of uniquely designed mountain bike events that progress from HARD, TO HARDER, to HARDEST. Competitors of each individual event and the series are recognized by age and sex. The top three male and female racers from each division are announced at the end of each race. Overall Point Winners for the series are celebrated at the conclusion of the last race in August.

Race course

Due to construction activity throughout Park City ski resorts, we are expecting that some changes in the racecourse will take place.
As soon as it is possible we will collect GPS data using the Garmin Edge 305 / https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=160&pID=331/ and uploaded it to our race course page and MotionBased.com.
Racers will be able to download the course into their GPS units.
